It is a privilege to work on projects all around the world, and particularly nice to install an outdoor exhibition in Miami. The city receives a great deal of sunshine all year round, and the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science makes full use of its energy with a rooftop solar farm. The sun as a renewable source of energy is the focus of their new exhibition: The Sun Spot. Located on the sixth floor rooftop terrace overlooking downtown Miami, the interactive exhibits invite visitors to experience the power of the sun and see how it can be converted into electricity.

“The Sun Spot provides a compelling approach to help everyone understand the potential of solar energy. From pedal power to human-sized sundials, this exhibit features more fun ways to expand the solar energy footprint at Frost Science to spark curiosity in the minds of young and old alike,” said Pam Rauch, vice president of external affairs and economic development at FPL. “More importantly, it helps everyone ‘lean into’ the learning curve of understanding solar.”
