This week, “Project Imagination” opened its doors to the public and the young inventors behind the exhibition – finalists of a national competition held by Statoil as part of its “Heroes of Tomorrow” programme. The objective was to create an invention – an idea which could contribute to building a better, more sustainable tomorrow from a global level to the day-to-day, and over 2,400 children submitted their ideas. The final 11 got to see their invention presented as an interactive exhibition which will tour a selection of science centres in Norway.
This project was hugely fun and rewarding for us. Turning these wonderful ideas into real physical presentations was challenging but seeing the reactions of the children when they saw their exhibits was priceless.
