Science Projects Ltd and Bader College have signed a landmark 10-year agreement securing the future of The Observatory Science Centre at the Herstmonceux Castle Estate in East Sussex.
This partnership guarantees the long-term continuation of one of the UK’s most distinctive and long-established interactive science centres, ensuring that generations of visitors can continue exploring hands-on discovery in a setting of unique historic importance.
We have been running the site since establishing the Observatory Science Centre 1995, restoring the historic telescopes, creating hands-on exhibitions and reinvesting profits from our exhibit design and build work back into the centre. We are deeply grateful to our dedicated staff and to everyone who has supported us on this journey. The new agreement allows us to plan confidently for the next decade, with a focus on enhancing the visitor experience, investing in improvements and ensuring that this iconic centre remains a beacon for hands-on science in the UK.
