We were asked to build oil and gas exhibits for the new North Dakota’s Gateway to Science, to address the challenges moving into a more sustainable future. An interactive oil derrick which visitors can use to pump oil; as they pump oil other visitors can capture the natural gas that is released. The second exhibit is an oil refinery where visitors move the coloured balls into the refinery tower and see how they are distilled into different fractions with different uses.
